Odd Colour On Live Rocks

Hi All,
I've noticed some odd colours on some of my live rock,

Both rocks in question, where purchased at the same time (pukanni purchased from FijiReefRock)
and have been in the tank since the beginning.

The first rock seems to have developed white streaks on it (almost like something has bleached it) and now 2 green dots have appeared.


The second has turn to a brown colour unlike those around it,



Has anyone seen anything like this before?

looks like you bought dry rocks.
When they become mature they will have different color.
Brown is still yang rock.

The 2nd pic is very typical I've had it happen , nothing to worry unless it's got hair algee or any type of algee you don't want I would just leave it

Nothing to worry about. it is part of the rock aging process. In time it will get coralline algae growing on it.

I bought a baseball size LR with coral lines on it, and recently has some white spots on it as well. I will post pic soon.

Thanks for the replies,
it sound like what i'm seeing is normal,

No hair algae (yet), on any of the rocks, just the bright green spots on the one.
