Just received a package from Royal Aquariums and got everything I needed and all without the insane shipping costs that comes along with BRS. Was at my door in less then 2 days!!!!!

I will be ordering again and I recommend you do the same  :D

Plus they don't use those stupid green shipping peanuts that get everywhere when I'm all excited digging for what I bought HAHAHA :?

I had a box of peanuts on my porch last summer.  Big wind storm came through and they disappeared... Box too.  I found three on my lawn no idea where the rest of the 2x2x2 box went

I always try to order/buy locally or then at least Canadian. I only order from the US if I can't find the product on a Canadian site, if it out of stock at Canadian suppliers or if even with the extra shipping it is considerably cheaper in the us. Needless to say other then fleabay I haven't bought much in the us.

When I get to figuring out if I'm dosing I will definitelybe looking at royal. Haven't heard anything but good things and from my home town to boot.

Same here, at least one gallon maybe more of calcium and alk in the tank, and everything is great.  I like BRS but absolutely love avoiding crazy shipping fees!!

Now they just need some ROX carbon ;)

Glad to see you guys are satisfied, we will be launching a affordable RA brand 5 stage RO unit very soon. Our goal is to eventually supply everything in bulk like BRS.

Thanks to everyone that shows us support from the frag tank.

RO DI fittings would be nice. They are IMPOSSIBLE to source from one place. You gotta hit up 4 different places and muck together something with a half dozen adaptors if you cant get it off BRS half the time.

you can get all the fittings of COLE PALMER but they sell everything in ten packs

I find I get -most- of them at LOWES, but yeah, I have ordered parts off BRS now that you mention it.  Coloured tubing and special fittings.

there's always one you can never find....

more of an issue with the reactors they sell and the 1/2" mur-lok fittings. you can get em in 1/4" and 3/8" no problem. The 1/2" pieces are very limited at lowes ( i think they carry three types of 1/2" fittings - yellow bag)

I deal with RA quite a bit! Really nice guys and everything is delivered to me within a day since we work in the same town.  ;) competitive prices and great customer service. Cant ask for anything more than that.

As for reefwater.net I find their pricing out to lunch for BRS supplies. Keep in mind when looking at their website that all the bulk additive pricing is for 1/2 gallon containers unlike BRS that has full 1 gallon containers for roughly the same price. Even with delivery I find it far cheaper to get it from BRS directly.

Add GFO to that wish list as well.  ;)
