Nitrate Problem

Hi I everyone!!! So over the past couple of weeks my nitrate has been pretty low, anywhere from 5 and below. I did a water change Thursday night and I tested my nitrate today and it is 15!! I want to bring them down ASAP. Any methods?? Keep in mind that I JUST did a water change. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks

Been using this for over 2 years never see. Nitrates above 5-6ppm make sure you get the blue label if you do (the blue dosent effect your phos media )

Definitely one of the best products on the market today for reducing Nitrates!
However, if your looking for immediate results and have a smaller tank another water change is the best option.
For long term results I don't think anything compares to a sulfur reactor!

Very well said ! You can do about 40% water change with no issues aslwell correct ?

Unless you have zero phospate you should never use the Titanium version. It is has phosphate added and is for set ups where phosphate is the limiting factor.

I use rowa phos with this nitra guard never any issues and can't ever get a reading on phos.

You're also not suppose to use a PO4 remover of any kind with the cubes/pellets etc....you need phosphate for the bacteria to use....maybe in case two wrongs make a right.

If wc isn't keeping up use some prime to neutralize it and allow your skimmer to pull it out. Fastest for nitrates is algae scrubber if your near Cambridge ever you can have mine $20. Or add in a fuge with macro and mangroves. Also slow down your feeding since that's the major contributor.

following along.. is your tank not a fairly new tank.. not sure but, I am wondering if that could make a difference.. maybe a bit of over load...
