Makes you wonder why Corals express such colour?  I also was thinking.....how does a brain like this reproduce in the wild?  And if it does reproduce is the offspring look the same....

Reproduction - probably both sexually and asexually.

Colour - I wonder if phosphorescence is a way to attract food.  Not sure what these brains eat, but if algae show phosphorescence, I'm sure there are organisms that are attracted to such colour or glowing especially at night and result in the Brain acquiring more food.  There has to be some type of associated competitive advantage.
