The file fish took care of most of the Aiptasia but as the food source diminished it started on my coral so it was removed.

Thank you for the welcome  :)

It looks good.  I see a lot of bubble algae in there, do you run any GFO?  Not as important on a softy tank I know, but it wouldn't hurt to get some of the phosphates out of there.

Do you keep the glass free of coraline or is it not growing?

Water clarity looks good though.  And I have to stress, I never criticize, I just like seeing kickass reef systems  ;D

I am still learning and im trying to keep this tank as simple as possible and when I build my bigger tank I do plan on a GFO system. I have been cleaning the glass of coraline it makes the tank look cleaner.
This tank was a rescue from Kijiji and had a lot of problems but they are slowly going away. (as I learn)

Im learning as I go and I have learned a lot in 9 months  ;D

love the clarkii clown - wish i had scored a pair of them vs. the ones i have now.

you can pop a bag of chemi pure (contains carbon and gfo) in your hob filter and that will work almost as good as a gfo reactor. You can make your own buy buying a filter bag (seachem makes one) and buying bulk carbon and GFO from bulk reef supply.

Thanks phi delt reefer I will look into that  :D

I brought that Clarki back from the dead lol he had a bad case of popeye when I got him it took about 6 weeks of relieving the pressure behind the eye with a sterilized needle to get him back into my big tank he has been through a lot  :-[
