New Ai Nero 5 Wavepump

They really need separate reps for Ecotech and AI. I just watched a bunch with the same rep only wearing an Ecotech shirt...looks like he is wearing the Ecotech one under the AI one actually lol. Watching the video now, looks like a cool little pump.
I was 100% impressed with this pump until they started showing how it is set up.
So with the new set up, there is no password or log in required. In other words, anyone can reprogram your lights as long as they are in blutooth range of the tank? This is scary as hell. Even if this was the Greek Gods of pumps and free (retail $300USD, too high IMHO, but that is a whole other issue) I would not be able to recommend this pump to anyone in fear that some douche is going to screw things up from outside the house or place of business.

True. If they added a security interface to this line it would be way better. That and yes the price point. I'll be keeping an eye on this product to see if they iron things out. With brand new products there is always an infancy stage and usually followed by a more reasonable pricepoint

Looks like a shitty Ecotech mp to me. I’m not to impressed. Love their lights though. Except the one that caught on fire on me...
