Polyp is just a normal brown button polyp.  Not harmful.  Will grow like a weed tho.  Not sure what the worm thing is.

It's def not aiptasia..  I'd believe brown button polyp,  as there are a few on the rock already..

The worm is  black and white,  very skinny,  about 2" long.

From what I've looked at on the google...  I didn't get bristle worm identification

my vote is brown button polyp and bristle star, you can kinda see the body of the star and a 3rd leg by the looks of it

found an article last night on this site by Rick Lalonde, for the life of me I can't find it again.
Anyway he has posted pictures of different little creatures that he calls hitch hikers, pretty sure there was a picture of the worm that is in the picture, maybe ask Rick, I'm sure he would be more than willing to help or tell you were the article is located..

Totally Reef safe but I'd be careful when you put your hands in the tank, I hate those stings. I had a tank once that was full of them and they were huge. When they stung it was like a mit full of tiny spears in your hand and the saltwater inflamed the heck out of them.  OUCH

Looks like a Bristle Star to me. If you look close starts thick and gets thin at the tip of the leg. When you feed you will see the legs come out flap around trying to catch some.

Thank you sunnykita. I knew bristle was the wrong type but I am at work so I couldn't look it up. Brittle starfish indeed

You're very welcome Torx, Gary at Sealife laughed at me when I told him I had a whole tank of them, in the 30 gallon, the brittle star apparently can breed two ways, and with only one adult I have a bunch of babies that continue to thrive, I'd bet there are at least 40 of them in there, little legs waving all over the place. Pretty darned cool, and they are growing !

The mini brittles are a different family than regular brittles and reproduce by fission as well as sexually. The minis will max out at a body diameter of 1cm.  Very beneficial I'd guess there are thousands in my tank.

Many of the larger species of brittles are ovoviviparous, like guppies.  So if Sunny was lucky she got a "pregnant" female who was holding fertilized eggs inside her body until they hatched...jackpot!!

Hmmm, I must have been the lucky one because mine isn't a mini ! cool, I love watching the little devils grow, every once in a while I'll catch one roaming on the glass ! Very interesting to know, I thought that from the reading that I did that they could reproduce both ways, I've learned something new again ! thanks for the info AdInfinitum !
