My 55G - Under Construction

Will be posting Pics eventually...but figured I'd start a thread to share some pictures of some of the fish I have collected.  I have started out with a 55g F/O tank back in September 2011.  I have a couple smaller tanks on the go as well to date.

Having browsed numerous pictures of members tanks and enjoying all the awesome pics, I have decided to transition (slowly of course) into more of a mixed reef system (you can chime in anytime now Blob..... :) )

I'm debating on leaving the 55 as is, but adding another 100+ gallon system at some point in 2012.

Thanks Torx.  I was really bummed out when his mate died.  He has never been the same since.  One of my fav's for sure.

Here's a few more.  Still trying to work on my photography skills...

Phil - kind of a purplish colored umbrella leather.  That one seems to wax over every other day - I don't get it.  The other one is about a foot away from it and it's always out (as you can see in the pics).

Nice pics! What kind of wrasse do you have there?
Hey Teebone - that is a Solar Fairy Wrasse.  He is a great fish to watch.  The kids just love him.

No worries Phil.
Any ideas as to why that leather waxes over so often?  I've moved it around the tank numerous times and nothing changes...

Good read.  Thanks Phil.

Here's some pics with night lighting.  I'm trying to get a decent shot of my bicolor angel but he won't sit still!!

LOL.
It feels like forever since posting on here.  Life has been very busy lately and my tank has kinda sat idle for a while.  My coraline algae has taken off nicely and my softies are all doing well too.

Im getting some red hair algae that is starting to worry me a bit.  Other than that, things havent changed much. I did manage to scope up a T5 6 bulb fixture with controller for a good deal though.
