More test kit questions

I currently use a reef foundation red sea test kit, how long do red sea test kits last? (ca, alk, mag) Mine are probably over a year old now and my alk test is definitely dead (could of been contaminated).

And for nitrates what kit do you guys use? Do you even bother testing nitrate unless your doing a cycle?

Same goes for pH, besides a probe what test kit do you use?

I use salifert, most have a shelf life of @ 4 years, I test for no3 monthly.
I have a pH probe on my apex I use to monitor and safeguard my system.
