Anybody here can scrape a little for you. Trick is to turn off the return pump. Leave power heads on. dump in some shavings In front of the power head. Leave return off for about a half hour.

It will grow in its own just takes time I started my tank with dry rock and didn't add any now it's all over the place

If you like coraline. Don't get an urchin. Mine keeps the coraline pretty much down to a minimum.
