1. It is up to the individual to donate or no.
2. A FEE is being levied thus .......

3. I do NOT donate to charities and HATE it when at stores and asked ...... would you like to donate to...........

4. Charities are based around the RICK and NOT the poor nor working class. The rich donate ONLY for the tax right off thus money that was suppose to go to the government STAYS in their pocket.

5. The RICH are the ones to donate to charity and NOT the poor or working class.

6. Where does the money go ? What is it used for ? If it used to keep the CEO's salary and bonuses in the one million dollar plus figure ?

I remember when there was an earthquake in the early 80s and money, caned foods, clothing was sent to those who had lost everything. A few years later after talking to family members we were informed that they saw NOHTING !!!! The front line people were the ones who TOOK EVERYTHING !!

That is REALLY what charities are about !!
bahumbug bro.  Stay home.

Come or don't come. No one will notice.

Start your own for profit swap in Barrie if you want, then you can save of gas.

I highly doubt it's the 10 bucks that changed your mind.

I was thinking of possibly driving from Bradford, Ontario to London to check out the activities. Considering the LONG drive the PRICE of gas etc. I was still willing to attend.

$ 10.00 ENTRANCE FEE !!! To see the SAME things that everyone has in stock ? Did I miss the joke :)

This is a very good point. It would be much easier to travel to each of the 23 vendors locations directly, that way I wouldn't have to worry about comparing corals and prices directly. I also wouldn't have to worry about discussing reefing and meeting fellow reefkeepers...wait what??

Was that post a joke for real? made me laugh

This is what I thought.

But I think it best if people who feel $5 is too much to enter a show, should stay home... As a Vendor that is going to spend the same on gas, plus my time (haven't slept in weeks) Table fees, material costs, I would rather see a fewer amount of happy people :) Makes it all worth it.

I will keep my $60.00 Dollars in gas money.
I will keep my $10.00 entrance fee money.
I will NOT waste my day.

I WILL have $70.00 to spend on that special coral :)

Buddy, I was so touched by your post that I -personally- will pay your way into the event, so that your $5 doesn't end up part of a 24k gold toilet.
