Jesus christmas.

From now on the committee is closed.  I'll run the raffle in the way I see fit. IF you have an item in the raffle, you have my ear, if you do not, I unfortunately am done listening. If you don't like the way the raffle is handled or presented, then don't buy a ticket, plain and simple.  I tried to get some kickass items so that you can get excited, not so that you can hold a pissing match over it.

I'm getting closer and closer to just signing out until June 1st, and what's funny is that I was warned about this from peeps that have held some of these events, I had just hoped that this was a more laid back crowd.  I hate being proved wrong.

I hope everyone has a VERY good time, I hope it's a great success, and I hope that together we can feed needy London families.  Beyond that, it's all just nonsense to me.

Peace out.

Sorry for causing a huge discussion but I dont think any one is complaining at this point??  The problem today was the way the raffle is handled was not clear.  You set the rules so now that you have made your decision I know Im done with the discussion.

I agree with Darryl.  It was unclear. Now it's not.  Nobody was trying to make it difficult for you or start a pissing match.
In every event there will always be things that somebody thinks could have been done differently.  It's all trial and error.  Hell, we could hold 15 of these and still find things to improve on or realize that the best way was the first time.  Who knows.  Lmao.

I'm just happy to be able to attend something like this... raffle, no raffle, prizes, no prizes. Raffle at the end or start doesn't matter, I'm there all day :) Big Props for getting this going, it's almost game time !

Since it is almost "game time", I'm waiting for the "official whatcha bringing thread"

I am giving one of my most "honest" Windsor buddies some cashola for frags and raffle prizes-note i said honest. ......Sooo, i would like to see what is up for sale, presale etc...

If it were not for a scouting camp w/ my boy, i would be there, without a DOUBT!
For those of you who have never been to a swap you're in for a hell of a time- my advice if you see something you like buy it! because if you think on it it -will likely be gone by the time you tour the room and come back to it.!

Doing a great job Salty!
Cheers to you!

Ok.  I came up with my raffle prize.  I was hard but I decided to give away (for charity) my platinum and premium Picasso clown pair.  I also will donate their home.....a beautiful rose bubble tip.  These clowns are not your typical 1" but have been with me for around a year.  They are about 2 and 2.5"....beautiful.

Now I just hope I can find someone willing to let me borrow a small pico tank for display for the raffle.....anyone?

Thanks for the offer but I was hoping for a bit smaller.  Say 5g or even smaller (remember I have to bring the water and Im already bringing a ton as a vendor).  It's not meant to be there home but just a nice way to display them.  If I dont get any offers for a smaller tank than I may take you up on that 10g though.

Thats a sweet prize Darryl!!! Those clowns are awesome! If I didn't all ready have a pair, I would have gone for them. I love that Picasso!!!!!

I've been saving my pennies for this event!!! It sounds like I may have to pull out a lawn chair the night before and sleep in front of the venue to get first picks!  ;D
