No problem Salty!! As an extreme hobbyist I just want this event to be a success. I plan on being there early come June 1 as well. I can help vendors get setup and such.....whatever is needed. I want to do a little walk around of course too once the event gets started :)
Now get fragging guys!!! :)

Darryl I believe.

What is up with the blue tables with Frag-a-lot?

They wanted to buy 3 tables, but I couldn't promise 3 with the size restrictions, so he got 2 and donated 25 frags (no price limit) for the auction.  Is that a bribe?  Perhaps, but again...this is why the money goes to charity....I'm just trying to make it the best event I can.  ;D

I really hope we can blow this place out, sell every last frag.  I don't think people are going to know what hit them.  I know I would have been blown out of my seat by something like this 2-3 years ago.  I look back at some of the 'colonies' I paid $50 or more for 'back in the day' and just shake my head.

No issues with me Salty.  This event is put on for the hobbyists and is backed by a great selection of awesome vendors and volunteers.

It's going to be a lot of fun

I was just curious ;)

Its also a great way for vendors to trade frags as well.....I know they do this all the time in the states......everyone wins! :)

Oh yeah, trading is awesome because guys who frag nice pieces only want to trade nice pieces, and then a year later, WE get nice pieces, so trading is definitely awesome for everyone.

I almost think we're going to need a "whatcha get" thread after it's done.

It would be great if we can get a lot more people on thefragtank afterwards.  It is unfortunate we are missing out on a few companies this year, but the way I look at it...joining this forum expanded my frag horizon ten fold, and this swap may expand it exponentially.  I hope it does the same or better for those who show up.  I definitely think there may be a few people looking for new tanks after they see what kind of stuff is out there, and how affordable it is to get a really decent setup going for.

I was a bouncer in some of the rougher bars in Hamilton during my university days, I would be glad to bring back some of my skills for this event.

Did I mention I have a gross beard and I am built like samsquanch?

LOL.
