Might want to check out the kit on Rapid led too, No experience with the other but pretty happy with the crees from rapid.
$475 for a 75g kit, Includes dimmable drivers as well as a couple different colour leds (can be customized at time of order if you choose), also for $20 more you can go solderless allowing easy install and easy change of burnt out led's in the future.

Also been looking at these kits.. Not sure of anyone running them tho. But to me it just doesn't seem like 48 would be enough?

Yeah these are the ones I use, remember the white LED's are 5V, I run 96 on a 125G sps tank, so 48 would likely do a 75.

I've got them on about 7 heatsinks. I started with only a couple of them and added on once I knew they worked.  In hindsight I would have done it on one or two.

I would order as more than you think, as these can always be dimmed if you find there is too much light. You don't want to pay for shipping twice. Also, you can always sell what you don't need, as there will always be someone looking to add some LEDs to their tank.

Yeah just order extra bulbs.  I blew 12 of them somehow when I first set them up.  I've had maybe 4 or 5 just go over the year.  If you don't open up the driver and turn it down you will overdrive the LEDs (unless he's changed things since I set mine up).  All I know is I'm more than a year in and they're still as bright as when I set them up.  I don't run T5's or anything else either.

Ooh, and how much were taxes and duties?  I am assuming even with free shipping, there are some extra costs once they reach Canada.

I ordered all the funky colours to try them out (reds grreens etc), the RB and the Whites are the only ones really useful for a reef tank.  An exception would be a strategically placed red on a red coral colony, even then it was weird.

I only got hit with extra duty on the biggest package that had all the heatsinks in it, it was 5 feet long, and it was maybe $16 more.  For the shipments with just led's I wasn't charged extra, however I have a pack coming right now, we'll see if they hit me with extra this time around.  I wordered last sun or monday, we'll see how long it takes to get here.

Okay, package showed up today, USPS postal box, no extra charges but it was only a small box... took about 1 week to arrive.
