I have a pair of Radions over the display, but those are shot in the frag tank under a Kessil 160. I try as much as possible to buy larger frags and grow at least one frag in each tank under different lighting conditions. My frag tank is lit 24/7.

So you have your frag tank lit 24hrs a day?
Yes, it is always lit. I have fantastic growth and my SPS frags encrust very quickly. Not sure what negative effects there could be, I haven't experienced them yet.

I also don't run the white at all, it is always on full blue. Strangely, the SPS like it much more there than in my display.

Yes, the systems are plumbed together. The frag tank is bare bottomed with no rock, so there is nowhere to grow algae. Any frags that come in with algae grow quickly until I toss them into the display for the fish to eat. No parameter swings, it is like lighting a refugium 24/7, in fact it keeps my PH more stable than it was before.

Firstly, David Caplan establishes himself as the Copepod king and now he's going for coral maven !!

I've seen his systems and this guy could write a textbook on reefing !

Awesome stuff !

As a side note, I'm happy to transport any of David's frags with or without his pods !

Thanks Sam! I am always learning, that's what I love about this hobby. I would love to be able to sustainably propagate beautiful corals, and am always looking for ways to improve loss rates and growth rates.

I was browsing your site this afternoon, I had no idea that you were posting your frags for sale (pick up ONLY). http://copepods.ca/our-corals/ Some of those millis and chalices look pretty sweet.
Yeah, I should update that more often. I always have interesting things as I like to experiment growing frags under different lighting. I try to buy frags that are as large as possible so that I can make 1-2 cuttings to grow out in my frag tank, and over time they have encrusted and branched. I am very pleased so far with how well my acropora is fragging/growing. I have frags of pretty much everything I post here, as long as its frag-able.

Right now, I have some gorgeous SPS frags that have done really well:
RR Pink Matrix
Ultimate Bonzai
True Sunset Milli
Purple/Green Milli
Pacman
Green Slimer
Purple Dragon
Orange Barney (gorgeous)
Blue Cloud
Burgundy
RR Habenero
ORA Red Planet

And quite a few others.

Added some new rock to the scape, and finally got to mounting everything. Really excited for it to grow in, these SPS are looking fantastic.
