Anyone else getting internet peek that a letter for a patent violation on the Jebao pumps and their design has been sent to US retailers. Everyone at this time in the US has been ordered to cease and desist all sales and orders on the Jebao pumps including the import into the US.

Such as http://www.fragtasticreef.com/ who has removed them from their sites. http://www.fish-street.com/ is a chinese site, so nothing there yet.

I just oredered mine a few days ago from Reef Supply Canada through a group buy. $91.94 directly to my door. Going to run it on the frag tank. Hopefully, the patent issue doesn't screw it up!  ???

I haven't solidified the info yet. Just saw some feeds about it. I have to go to work, maybe something else will show up with more people looking

Maybe I should have checked the Apple site, they probably feel that Jebao infringed on the iPhone 6 or something.

But seriously, not sure how they infringed on anything patent related...depending on what patents the opposition holds though.

got it all hooked up, creates a nice standing wave, not the back and forth swaying motion i was hoping for on most of my corals, but
i still have to tweak it a bit i guess

What settings have you tried, and where is it placed?  I get some good back and forth sway on my GSP and tiny hammer when it's on W1 and placed high in the tank.  Placed lower on Other and I get some really nice random sways.

how many people are using these? i got a wp-40 and i couldnt be happier with it. compared to a vortech this thing is silent. and i think it moves more water too. on W1 i get a bigger wave than with my tunze nano wavebox, and if i speed the pulse up i can get 2,3, or 4 waves going in the tank. Else mode seems to be fairly good too. for less than 90$ shipped how can you go wrong.

very happy with mine as well, get a great wave movement going,
going to order another one sooner than later and just have the two of them and my sea swirl as the only form of movment in my tank

I have had one for about 1.5 months and it has been doing well. It did quit on me once, and i cleaned it out a bit and it started right back up. Not sure if a snail blocked it or what...

I just use it for flow, not wave as I already have a tunze wavebox.
