Insane Chromis Attacking Everything In The Tank

So I added a powder Brown tang to the display tank yesterday, right after putting a large rock structure in.

My concern was with the yellow tang who's already in the tank. That hasn't been an issue at all, the PB is much larger, they're both sharing the Nori clip already.

... but this damn SOB chromis has become territorial, and incessantly waits near the clip and dive bombs this powder Brown whos 5 times bigger. This causes a chase between the PB and chromis for a few moments that takes them all over the tank.

I'll see if they sort things out, it leaves the yellow tang alone mostly but I've seen the yellow chasing it too.

Damn thing is stressing out the PB. Unbelievable.

Not the best clip but it depicts it somewhat. my live feed on youtube shows it much better

How many time do you feed during the day? I've noticed that if I feed less then 3x/day my chromis get very aggressive.

How many chromis do you have? I found in pairs they're less aggressive. I had 2 and they were fine swam near the top and left everyone alone. Then got a third and the two were so aggressive the new one died in 3 days.
I have since rehomed the other two and gave the bio space to a different fish.

Just a thought.

Enjoy your tank!

Ya what do you expect it's a Chromis, luckily I have a yellow tailed blue damsel that keeps mine busy but honestly the can both jump any time

Chromis arnt so bad if you have them in numbers atleast from my experience. Ive had my nine for a year now they dont bother any other fish and theres so many of them that they spread the bullying out amongst each other. Same with anthias with 2 the dominant picks on the other non stop. When theres more its gets spread around. Just my experience

Lyretails are pretty easy. Sqarespot's take a little more. Purple queens are another story. All my anthias eat PE Mysis 2mm pellets now and supplement with frozen.
