Looks like Spyd, Salty and I had the only wins last night.
Mine was typical. Struggle against a crappy team because the Bruins won't learn how to play against them, however I agree with their strategy.
I have said for a while that being in this conference and division will make Detroit a crappier team. Once they realize how easy these teams are compared to the west coast teams (and the terrible travel they had to do), they will start to lose the edge. Playing teams like Toronto on a regular basis will just destroy them.
Bruins will keep plugging along like an old freight train. They're one of the only teams that really 'gets' the east coast conference. They don't give a shit about figuring out how to play against say toronto because it doesn't matter in the playoffs, they'll be trying to make a team that can go up against the strongest team in the east (which may be detroit this year). I do think last year that came back to bite them in the ass....I mean who thought the leafs would make the playoffs and ruin a perfectly good decade long drought?

Top three in the Atlantic (in no particular order)
Detroit
Boston
Ottawa
Montreal and/or Tampa Bay this year might make a solid run at a wild card spot.
Then in the Metro:
Pittsburgh
The other two are a crap shoot, as the rest of the teams are all freaking junk, like what the hell. ONE team is above .500 hockey in this division.... And OTL is a loss. I don't care what you say.
Pitts: 6 - 1
Carolina: 3 - 5
Islanders: 3 - 4
Rangers: 2 - 4
So perhaps toronto makes it in on the new "wild card" system.....
