Yep nice re-direct with 0.8 seconds left. We might have been flat in the 3rd, but the comparison to Toronto is unwarranted. We weren't up 2 goals half way into the third period Glen.... THAT is a Toronto crumble.

Well true, that was a little uncalled for.  However, they went from DOMINATING the game, completely, to being unable to clear it from their end.  Shots on net were something like 40 to 20 in san josies favour, and almost none of those came in the 3rd.  The thing is, EVERY team in the league was watching that game yesterday, looking for ways to beat SJ.  You guys might see a bit more resistance now that they know you only have 2 periods of fuel in the tank. 

That said, until the 3rd, even though we were winning, I was like "holy crap, these guys are unbeatable".  Then you fell apart.  If you watched the game, there was 2 totally different SJ teams out.  The one that came out of the gate like a herd of angry steroided bulls, and the confused sheep that were sliding around in the 3rd.  I'm not saying they played bad, not at all, but they don't have the juice to win a 7 game series at this point.  I don't see the depth (yet).  They unfortunately have lots of time to fix that though (maybe) depending on how their cap spending has been. 

That was a hell of a game to watch though.  I yelled so loud at that first goal that the dogs wanted out of the room.

on another laughing matter, BOSTON BLEW A 3-1 LEAD in the 3rd period to lose 4-3 in REGULATION TIME!!! HAHAHAHAHAH

Actually. It was a 3 - 1 lead after the first period for Boston.

AND it was to a team that only had ONE win going into the night. The odds were -220 for Boston. Damn, that must have stung.

Bahahahaha. We did you Eastern conference guys a favor and kept Montreal at bay though. Your welcome.

I also think Reimer must've stood on his head as they had 38 shots against or something like that.  A different night and it would have been a different story.

What do u mean ? They were out played by the Pens up until the 3rd period,  no doubt about it Toronto owned that 3rd period hands down. If it wasn't for reimer then it would have been a different story. Shot count speak volumes in games. 4 shots of fluery in the 2nd period , that's not good hockey for the Leafs, one goal was empty netter, another was a power play and bolands break away goal, cause fluerys a donkey and was out 15ft from the net.

We lost, we were outplayed in the 3rd which is where most of the Leafs goals came and that's it, Reimer won that game for the leafs.

Ya but hockey is always and up and down sport , if it wasn't what's the point of playing each other, anyone can win a game , but to say it will NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN, and IT WAS JUST LUCK, is a bit much. Shit happens, I'm just fighting for the leafs,
