Heniochus

Has anyone tried a heniochus in a reef?

Any troubles. I want to put some In my reef but liveaquaria say not reefsafe

I had 2 smaller heniochus a little while back. Great looking healthy fish but they got too stressed, then ick, then gone. No damage to the corals, but not a lot of sps anyways.

I believe the key is that seahorse are susceptible to many diseases fish carry. Another this is a lot of corals will actually sting and hurt the seahorses.

I think he might be referring to heniocus butterfly, but I could be wrong?

Haven't had any troubles yet, but time will tell. He did get ich after i put him in my tank but he managed to pull through. Also there are 2 types that look very similar one is reef safe the other is not.
