So was away on vacation for a week come back to my tank almost ruined. My phosband reactor pump broke and leaked oil into the tank. Did a 40%water change feel this has not even helped.. all my fish and coral are still alive but some of my fish are starting to show signs of popeye. What should I do to fix this? Empty the whole thing?

Kind of baffled how an aquarium pump leaks oil like that. What type of pump was it? Only suggestion i can think of is to try and figure out a way to surface skim. Mechanical filtration will help as well such as poly filter or a filter sock. a skimmer should theoretically remove it as well.

Just wondering how are you making out? I don't think it was the oil as it would float on the surface, you may want to ask Nabors if the power went out. I believe we had some big storms at that time.
