Just put a Filter on the tank for a while. I do know what you mean, mine has reshaped about half my substrate. Then my Phosphate went sky high and and my Nitrates followed along. It has been fun.

Oh it is not a short term solution. This is Reefing nothing is easy or cheap. But you should make sure you keep a eye on your Phos. and Nitrates. It is amazing how they work just like a snow plow if you get a chance to see them, which is like never. I added a Fire Goby and i seen him for about a whole 30 sec tell he seen the hole and now sometimes I think he died and out he pops for about 20 seconds and then gone. I know I would not get one again.

Tank upgrade to a bigger tank? lol :p

Pets and ponds has a trap that looks cool. A homemade version I have used is by using a pvc pipe with an end cap on one end and you bait it. You can place it in the substrate with the open end up. Once it starts using it if you go near it it should go into the pipe. Then you can block the end and pull it out.

Brave soul. When I went down this morning I noticed a big pile on the left side of my tank, that bugger has been fine in the middle under some rocks with I believe 3 outlets, so at least 3 tunnels. No that's not good enough, lets head on over to the left side and and do some redecorating. I thought my Goby was bad when I had him.
