Hey guys, I posted this here specifically instead of the Looking For area because I figure it could be useful information to others in the future.

My girlfriend is helping someone setup a 4 ft tall column tank that has an extra thick bottom pane, and the standard 1 inch bulkhead she was provided from the manufacturer is too small. We could obviously order the required bulkheads online but would prefer to avoid waiting a week and shop local.

I already had her try Sealife to no avail. I don't know of any other stores in the area that might have bulkheads - so I need suggestions!! I'm also open to suggestions for Toronto stores because I'll be there tomorrow helping my brother move.

I'm sure someone here knows of a source. Help a brother out! Thanks.

In theory it's kind of a neat tank... but in reality what can you stock it with? The customer wants big fish. But big fish don't swim up and down. And as a reef tank it would be a nightmare to light the bottom of it.....

She is super pissed that they couldn't be talked into a normal tank lol.

Up and down

Oh! Good to know!

Bulkhead possibly located in Ilderton. If case that doesn't work then I've identified a few other possibilities:
-Plasco on Dundas (thanks Jerry!)
-TSC
-Splash Works Pool & Spa

The bottom of that damn tank is two panes of either 1/2" or 3/4" glass, and it seems that most normal bulkheads are only designed for a max of 1/2".

Would be good for seahorses but pretty useless shape for much else IMO.

How do you arrange rock work or decorations? I know...make it a nano with a 3 foot DSB...

You could do a dedicated NPS system and add a couple of deepwater basslets.
