The place is called aquatic connection and is located in Florida. I've never really bought coral online before and a couple of my buddies and I ate doing a group order here.  Just wanted input on this place first.

The problem with buying corals from the states is if you are having them shipped to Canada you need to have re-export cites paper work which I believe is about 150 to do so. If you are having it shipped to a border city and taking the risk of trying to get past border patrol. I imagine it will be harder to do with a fair amount of corals. You risk losing your money and the life of the coral.  I think you will have better luck using a Canadian supplier and you will also be helping the Canadian economy. Just my 2 cents.

Yu can do this and have it shipped ro a parcel pickup place in Windsor or port Huron.  But yur have to go right over at 11 am. The next day. As most coral places ship overnite  ..and. If yu do. Do a small order  at a time. So yu don't get a whole bunch seize at the border. If they don't let yu being back across.    I have did  some from the frag farmer  and did like 200 at a time and didn't have no problems ..just show them the bill

i think the only way to buy coral from the US is to deal with a distributor who has an CITIES export license....most places in the states & canada dont have this because all they do is import and distribute within the country

I think your best bet is going on a day trip to somewhere in Michigan…chances are you will make it back with all your reeflings, but be prepared for the chance that you may lose everything at the boarder, because technacaly you do need all the paperwork done.

ya it seems to much of a pain in the ass to go through the states.  in the long run the money you save on coral just gets eaten up by either gas or what not lol

thx

fragalot.ca ?  They dont have a steller reputation for shipping corals, but if you go pick up he has a lot of frags, and he's nice.  I've never lost a frag from him, but I always pickup or meet him.

J&L aquatics has a good reputation for shipping.  I have a friend here in Sarnia that has never stepped foot in any of the LFS and buys all of his fish and corals from J&L with no issues.

Brent,

I have been successfully shipping my livestock by Air and by courier. I have two very very good customers in particular, who have lately requested their items be shipped via Fed Ex Express Priority Overnight. One is located in  Victoria British Columbia the other in Charlottetown PEI. I mention these two because they are a long way away from London, ON and because they have made multiple orders with us, using this method.....for Fish, Coral, Inverts and many clean up crew items... all are doing well, hence the multiple orders.

The warmer weather is here so it will be easy to accommodate you.

:)
