I meant to mention something about ur sps dominate mixed reef tank before being totally lit by leds.....truly the next step in reef keeping your tank is!!! Your corals are spectacular and growth is amazing as well. I would easily believe you have a hidden t5 or mh somewhere but i dont think u do lol.....does anyone know of anyone else in canada keeping sps this well with only leds for lighting? Perhaps adam stallaert will be the next..... it was very exciting to see such colours and growth on sps from leds only.....
It is possible people but i think it will be hard on the corals if they are uaed to the t5.....takes time i guess....

Adam has the best shot at it, he's using the same stuff I am, and he seems a lot smarter than me. 

Plus he's only got a few frags, if he gets his spectrum figured out by june 1st he could have a killer tank by this time next year.  If he ever turns on his gfo reactor that is.

So, kind of a major update today... It appears as though Hydro One f'd up our billing at the same time we set up our tank last year. My wife now questions if $30-40 in electricity for the tank per month is worth it. She is also a little ticked we owe Hydro One an extra $400.  She is too addicted, I'm confident she will get over it.

My LEDs are doing great, my problem now is...everything else. As Salty mentioned, I have yet to get my GFO and BioPellets running. Also I think I need a bit more flow.  I have the wavebox going, but think I need a bit more laminar flow.

ReefHero, shoot me a text and stop by to see how well some of the frags have coloured up. Most of my frags were browned out, some have now bleached, others coloured up amazing. The ones that bleached can most certainly be attributed to me not knowing lighting requirements, etc.

You should be good with the wavebox, stick a powerhead or two on the other side on a random pulse pattern (if you can program something to do that).  Get the bloody GFO running before you get a toilet going in there. 

My current hydro/water bill is ~450 per month.  It was ~$400 before that awesome time of day use raping happened, so I might have been at $600 per mo if I hadn't switched to LED.

Get a hot tub, the wife can't complain about extra hydro if you have a hot tub
