If I have 2 lights on my torch is small ... 8 bulbs on it gets 4x the size. Some how I think less light doesn't docs thing. I've left just 2 lights on my tank for a couple weeks and my torch looked like shit

Interesting Pat.  I think your right about them wanting quite a bit of light.  In my FT they don't have those stubby tentacles (or whatever they are called).  I think they do like a decent amount of light.

Have you noticed any new growth Dave ?

Tonnes, they have at least doubled the amount of mouths they had.

I'm finding mine is super slow growth. Bought as one head that was splitting when I bought it, still hasn't fully split.

I still have my RR Aussie Orange Torch that I got from bigshow a little while ago. It was when he did a drop at big ALS in London and I got a bunch of thing from him.... Would it be 2 years??? I forget...
Anyways mine is doing well.... I only bought as one head and it's tripled in size but not sure if it's anymore than 2 heads really...
There is no doubt that torches like and require light....I know that my torches are shrivelled up much more when lights are out and when lights come on, the torches tentacles expand further and further until lights go out again. I don't really feed mine much but I think they would grow faster if I did.

I found the same thin, slow growth and lots of light.
