Anyone knows a reef friendly licensed technician that works in GTA?

I was using GFCI extension cord but from time to time it shuts off automatically.

What's the cost to hire an electrician to convert two outlets to GFCI outlets?

Thanks

Gfi extension cords will likely trip and have to be reset if there is a power fail

Personally I think that Ontario code is way too strict. There is no real budget friendly electrician because legally everything has to be on board and possibly also with an electrical permit. Any time anyone works on a home’s electrical, homeowners must contact the Electrical Safety Authority (ESA) to confirm whether or an electrical permit is required, and to make sure the work meets code requirements. The only problem is that you will not know if a permit is needed because you will not know what work is needed until an electrician comes and has a look. Will it be a simple outlet switch or a complete rewire? If a permit is needed then everything has to be on board and as such, so will the associated fees. The Ontario laws keep getting stricter. Pretty sure legally in Ontario you need to be an electrician to change out a light switch or fixture. Pretty soon you will need to have a licensed electrician to change out a light bulb.
