Getting that sweet corner bowfront

So I blackmailed Aaron into giving me his tank.  I just love the looks of that thing.  Now here's the thing.  It's a corner bowfront, not drilled, and the bottom is tempered.  Drilling into the side is kind of silly since then it can't go in a corner very well.  So there's two things I'm considering...

1) cutting out the bottom, taking it to a glass shop, and having them replace it with a pre-drilled piece and possibly tempering it (not sure it's needed though). 

2) what sice bullkheads and type of overflows?  I really like the dual overflows I have in my tank now.  Deal silent, but not sure if you can find all the parts separate.

What would you guys do??

Actually this will be a quarantine/grow out tank in my office downstairs.  I like the idea of a tank where I can dose interceptor, etc and let frags grow for a bit before they hit the DT.  However, I def need a sump, skimmer etc.

You could have the plumbing go through a wall.  The stand isn't really built for a sump anyways.

I will likely make a custom stand I think, either wood or I'll weld up some steel reinforcement if space is a premium.  I hate to dig into walls if I can avoid it.  Tends to make such things 'fixtures'.  My last tank stayed with the house because it was built into a wall.

If I could find one with a view like I have here I would.  Some of the neighbours really get under my skin.  Specifically the ones with wheaton terriers that don't know how to keep their dogs from barking at the wind for hours at a time.  MAN I hate wheaton terriers. A guy offered me 2x what I paid for this place, and I turned him down, because I just can't do that to a person.  He just didn't understand the unbelievable, evil, power of the incessant wheaton bark. 

One woke me up one sunday, and I just started counting.  2482 barks before it stopped.  I kid you not.  From 8:30 until almost 10am.  I actually have a .mp3 of a turkey making its warbling sound, I put it on the outside speakers sometimes and fire it back.  Left it running 4 hours one day.  This year I plan to go with either christmas music or the songs they have on the punjabi channel.

There are 5 wheatons in earshot distance here.  As I recall you would only bother one neighbour  

What I don't get is that every new dog that shows up in the area is a wheaton!  Is there a petition I can sign to outlaw these dogs? lol.

Don't people buy Labs anymore?  Those dogs just chase their tails!

Very simple, buy a beagle or some other hound dog... Then tie it up in your back yard and let a rabbit loose... You will drive you neighbors insane

To be honest I have the rottie trained now to bark at the wheaton barking.  As much as the wheaton sound just gets right under your skin....the rottie can boom thunderous barks over the fence.  I'll just wait until they complain

My neighbors yappy dog came for a visit (they never tied the darn thing up and it was small enough to get through the fence.) And either my lab or my king shepard ended up stepping on him- kind of sad, but I don't have to listen to his barking anymore...

Yeah not much.

I think that's what I'm going to do...cut the bottom pane out and have it re-made then silicone it back in.  I'm just researching overflow types now. 


I mean one other option would be coast to coast overflows on both back sides, but that's probably more work than taking out the bottom.

In my 90g corner it is drilled twice in the bottom in the back, Durso style drain. Prob the easiest way to go.
But separating glass panes in my experience has always ended in my cracking at least one.
