I have a mixed reef 75g with the following livestock for fish...
2 clowns
3 chromis
2 cardinals
1 copperbanded butterfly
1 mimic tang
1 foxface

I am feeding new era algae and marine pellets and flakes. Also mysis shrimp daily and on occasion some brine shrimp or cyclopeeze.....i do not feed any coral food.
You will get a lot of mixed answers.....also will depend on your own livestock....

id bet you prob could feed them the cichlid food for a bit
when i first started out in saltwater, i had alot of tetra fish food left and i fed my fish that...
was fine til about 3 months and my yellow tang started turning red lol...
nutrient deficiency or something, so then i did research and switched to nls and supplement with flakes or algae sheets.

Most clowna are omnivores.....they will eat algal or marine pellets/flakes.....they will not graze though so im doubtful they would pick at algae sheets but who knows....the shrimp and crabs will clean up the leftover.....watchout keeping crabs in a reef tank tho....i know they claim most to be reef safe but not in my experience.....i personally keep none
