So I just sold a head of gold torch and I sold it pretty quick. On Saturday I was checking at the few colony that I have and noticed 2 of it had flatworms, they’re small mole like. I just saw it on two of my torch and one of my hammer, this is the first time in this hobby that I had this kind of flatworms. I treat my tank with flatworms exit and bought a melanurus for the tank.

Recently just sold a few pieces of my corals, I know “buyers beware” and should dip. However some of us don’t do it all the time! Here I want to apologize to a few people that had purchased from me. I just hope your piece don’t have it or you dip before added to your tank, I am sorry

I need to know how many treatments of flatworms exit need to rid of this permanently, pls chime in...thank

honorable thing to do is mention it ^ like you have. Beyond that, i wouldn't stress about it. It definitely is buyer beware. Assume your frag is infested until you know it is not! Doesn't matter where it came from. I have had flat worms in the past, be careful using EXIT, if you have to many , the die off can really upset the nutrient balance.

Treatment when well with the flatworms, I am a little fortunate not to have the big one. I have some of the small one die and flout in the water column, later on I add carbon and change filter sock. All of the corals are ok, most fish are fine with out any ill or what so ever. I have one lost, my borbonius anthias. I think he sensitive to the medication. I lost him the next morning. Other than that every other fish, every corals are fine. I want to shares this just in case someone else want to treat there tank, might be a good idea to take out the anthias
I will do another treatment of flatworms exit in two week just to make sure or they might have egg(not sure about this one, just want to be caution). I also have a bottle of flatworms stop, expire in 2016. It was given to me when my buddy shut down his tank. I used anyway, I know it expired lol. I read it good for the corals that it produces a slime to protect corals. I dose 5ml daily, so far so good lol though it expire( don’t do what I do using expire products unless you’re will to gamble)
