Feeding Schedule

I searched the forum and saw that this has been answered in the past. I'm curious if some of the answers have changed.

I know that I overfeed and no matter how many times I've tried to break this habit it always creeps back.

What is your feeding schedule? Do you feed everyday? Every other day? What do you feed?

I'd love to hear what everyone does, and I'm hoping I can adopt some of your tricks.

Thanks!

I only feed (small amount as they need to be hungry all the time) my fish PE Mysis pellet and alternate with other varieties of food such as cyclops and etc once a day in the evening.

For my BTAs, I target feed them twice per week in the evening, and I feed them LRS Reef frenzy or brines and etc.

For my corals, I target feed once per week in the evening with reef nutrition or reef roids.

I feed them once a day when my day lights close down, one time dry(pellet, dry algue), soft( mysis, brine) or mix both, if you feed them every time at the same moment, you will notice that the coral love it too.

Always feed according to your systems ability to process waste and according to your husbandry schedule.

Obviously feeding will differ if one system has either a very productive refugium, running gfo, carbon, sulphur reactor and so on.
Also if one person does WC's weekly, instead of "whenever"

All boils down to knowing your system and what it can handle. And deciding what you're willing to do or spend in order to "over feed"

I know my system and what it can handle. So my feedings per day are, 2 times NLS pellets from my auto feeder and three to four time manually feeding my homemade fish food. Plus half a sheet of nori every other day.

Fish...once a day typically. New Era pellets. Reefroids twice a week and reef chili once a week.

Seahorses 2-3 times a day with Hikari Mysis.

100% agree with feeding according to what your system can handle.

I've cut back, I generally only feed pellets once a day. I put some nori in for the tang once a week sometimes more as he also munches on the algae in the tank.

I feed mysis / brine shrimp 1-2 times a week in replacement of pellets.

I bought a hatchery for baby brine shrimp and my fish couldn't care less when I put them in the tank.
