Feather Dusters/help,help,help

my tank is literally covered with the small tube worms or feather dusters. This is a fish only tank and all of my fish are peaceful, my question is " what kind of community fish will eat these dam things" they are so bad that about every 2-3 months I take all of my rock out and rinse them off.
Hoping someone has an idea how to get rid of them, a few would be okay but this is horrible.

Wrasses will eat them I think. Some will.

ok, do you know which kind, I do have 2 engineer gobies in the tank, so it has to be something that won't disrupt them.
I have a fairy wrasse in my coral tank and there are a few there and he isn't bothering with them so we know its not a fairy wrasse.
any suggestions

How large is the tank?

Any fish only community tank should have at least one butterfly unless it is a nano and most of them will eat the dusters.

6 line wrasse, yellow wrasse, golden coris wrasse might eat them, no guarentees. Also the copperband butterfly and peppermint shrimp ive read will sometimes eat the smaller ones.. every fish has a diff personality, so like a i said no guarentees. Good luck.

Make sure you see the copper band eat mysis shrimp at the lfs before you buy it. If you don't once your feather dusters are all gone, he will starve to death. They are very hit and miss.

I would look at another choice in butterfly personally.

The reason that CB are popular is their very narrow dietary choices make them one of the few reef safe butterflies but also harder to keep. Since it is a fish only system use the opportunity to have one of the many gorgeous species that you cannot keep in a reef because they will snack on just about any sessile creatures. Still no guarantee it will eat them but maybe a better chance of long term success and a different and beautifula addition to your tank.

BTW Pearl scale and Saddleback are personal faves that are inexpensive and stunning though the Saddleback is for larger systems.

thanks for the info. right now the system is a 90 gal and I will be upgrading to a 125 within the next few weeks.
will do my research, please keep the suggestions coming.

i had luck with a copperband but once he realised the mini dusters were food he refused mysis and starved once all were gone but have heard from alot of people that clams are the way to go for cb..... i cant keep a wrasse if my life depended on it so im no help with those guys
