I got one emerald crab in my 40 gallons tank and I witnessed him eating hair algae and bubble algae. I am thinking awesome!

I am thinking to get one more emerald crab. Is this too many for my tank?

Also plan to add 2 blood shrimps in the near future, will they harm each other?

2 would probably be the max I'd put in a 40 but it shouldn't be an issue. Keep a close eye on them though once they've eaten up all your bubble algae as some people have had issues with them becoming aggressive and picking at corals and even fish. I always add them to my tanks and have never had these issues. Also, they will be perfectly fine with blood and or cleaner shrimp. I have them all together in my tank and several clients tanks and have never had an issue.

just want to give an update. I decided to only keep one emerald crab as this bad boy completely annihilated all my hair algae and bubble algae by himself. My tank is completely free of HA and BA. What a champ! No need extra emerald crab.

I have 2 in my biocube 29g and they are fine. Just make sure you got some extra food hitting the ground for them. Mine eat algae and frozen mysis/brine/cyclops

so far mine is not bothering any of of LPS and softies. He might also be getting food from fish foods that fall on to the sandbed and seaweed.
