So I been readinng and watching videos on people drilling 10g tanks and cuz its so thin I read its hard to drill? Is there a easy way of doing it without breaking tanks? Or someone that does it in lonndon so if they break it, its there problem not mine? :) lol

do you have the drill bit? what size hole are you doing?
use the fastest drill speed possible, and use the weight of the drill (dont push) ive done about a dozen holes its not that hard

if you have a bit i can do it for you, but i tak no responsability for a broken tank :)

I use a piece of plywood inside the tank, a piece of acrylic or plexi with the bit size drilled through it to act as a guide. and then I use C clamps to snadwich the glass between the two.  As far as speed I was always under the impression that a slower speed is better(within reason) and lots of water to flush out the grinded up glass.  I woudl say in the area of 5 Rotations per second. Just let the bit grind it way through pushing will do nothign to help you.  I have drilled a tank at almost full speed and it worked.. the first time :). Brother tried it and it di not work out so well. So I have went slow with all the other holes I have drilled.

My 90g took like 3-4 minz onn high and how no problem. I was just worred about the glass so thin? I have a bit and everything and was going to use plywood with a hole for a guide.

its tough to say...i know in most tanks 20-90gal the bottoms are often tempered, i have no idea if this is true for smaller tanks
