Dosing????

just out of curiosity..... what is everyone dosing? the only thing I dose is 5ml iodide ( for invert exoskeleton) once a week. my mag never drops below 1290 ppm and calcium never below 430 ppm and keep my salinity at 1.025 and alk around 4meq/l. Are ya'll keeping you r values higher?

I dose, Vinegar (Carbon Dosing) daily, Don't have enough corals yet to have to dose Calcium, Alk or Mag, currently Kalk in my ATO is more than handling the requirements

When I do a Water Change I bring the Levels up of the top off water

I dose alk and ca daily, Mg monthly, and biopellets(carbon dosing). Im aiming for 8.4 alk, 420 Ca, and 1350 Mg.

I dose CA/alk/MG daily, somewhere around 80 ml a day of each(aiming for the same params as reefkeeper), and run biopellets 24/7.

are you measuring your alk. in meq/l or dkh ?

hummer I have carbon dosed in the past but I used the vodka method and had amazing results took 6 weeks to get nitrates from over 20 to undetectable haven't dosed in years but works I imagine vinegar works of same carbon ion principal

Dkh i believe.. i use a hanna checker and than convert it to dkh i think lol.

Mag, Cal, Alk and Iodine. Just started the iodine though. Tank is happy.
