Wife had me in mind this year for sure. Tank wise, she hooked me up with Innovative Marine Aqua Gourmet Gadget Collection and a Nano Flipper for my seahorse tank. I also got a robo sea turtle toy from my youngest to go with my robo shark from last year. They have been swimming together in their tank since 5 am. I also got an artificial jelly fish tank from my oldest daughter. My favorite gift was not reef related though. My wife also got me a $100 gift card at Tattoos by Vicky.

I hope you all had and are having a great Christmas.

I got myself a few small things Friday, mandarin, urchin, and some snails.

She got me a big ALS gift card and a Arlo netgear camera package [emoji33] so technically tank related ;)

I got a backup battery!! A SW-4 Power head with a remote control,media bags, water clarifier and nitrate remover, phosphate pro test kit, Salifert mag,cal,and all test kits. Eheim plant tongs, sea gel, phosphate remover, and a fish calendar!!!

Which arlo did she get you? I got the pro one but I got them myself so I don't think it counts for the purpose of this thread

Well I go through about 1 a month. Last year I did 1 every 2 months. None got hard, or even close. The trick is to keep 0 moisture. Do not leave the scoop in it and do not get the scoop wet when using it. Keep it sealed, cool and dry and it will last. However, I would not suggest it as... well... basically, shit happens. In smaller set ups, I would suggest you get the box if you want to buy bulk and save. It has 4x50 gallon mix bags inside of it. Much better choice for you so long as you remember to seal the bag closed in between.
