To those that haven't seen it, this tank is way better in person than even the pictures show.  It's just phenomenal.  No word of a lie, when I came home I wanted to bust up my whole tank and setup and start from scratch.  It's that good.

I was rather pleased to see that he and I do similar things with bio pellets, dosing, ATO, etc.  His setup is just crazy cool, I couldn't even follow all the plumbing (and I was trying).  His frags also opened up -immediately- after a coral dip.  There's really something to be said for tank-raisedd coral over the wild-caught stuff.  His frag tank lighting was the same as my display tank setup so I don't think the corals had any kind of shock at all.

thanks...it has taken me some time to be able to take really nice pictures of my corals/tank.  It definitely takes the right equipment, knowledge and practice.

Speaking of equipment I just won a used macro lens on ebay for my cheap olypmpus DSLR.  I think I will have a macro soon......good price too.  $100+ shipping for a $500 lens....wha hoo.  Wonder what I will be able to do with this bad boy......

I know it's nice but I try to be modest for a number of reasons.  If anyone has ever looked at their tank with disappointment....or wondered if it was all worth it....well I've been there.  I think I have a good handle on things now but I attribute a lot of that to the ups and downs I've had over the years.......really making me more knowledgeable. 

Experience has taught me the intricacies but the basics and KISS is the foundation.  Often people get stuck on the basics and I really like to share what I know so that other people can achieve success faster than I did.
