Decided to do some mainteance/wc on my frag tank......first plug I picked up....damn bristleworm got me! Lol

Ouch. I read when it comes to removing glochids (small cactus needles), pour white glue on them and let it dry, then peel off. Not sure if it will work the same here.

They don't hurt...the only reason i noticed is bc i felt something mushy...lol

The bristles stayed in my finger for weeks. I would feel a sting every once in a while. Wishing you an easier time of it......

Pulled em out with tweezers...no stinging, burning, itching etc...nothing.

Make sure you get all of them! Someone on the forum got a nasty infection around a year ago from bristleworm bristles that had been left in... I forget who it was but I remember the pictures [emoji32]

They said if that red line going up my arm were to of hit my artery under my armpit there would have been nothing they could've done

I always where gloves in my tanks and when fragging!
I discovered that I am allergic to Schistosomes ( a parasite that lives in snails ) and then with palythoa toxins, bristol / red worms ect.....
Not worth not wearing them IMHO.
