I think a few people on here have bought similar (if not the same) fixtures off ebay. Think they are pleased with them. I'm sure they'll chime in.

A few members have been using them with good results. Tech is changing quite quickly with LED's in this hobby, so the price is coming down drastically on Chinese LED systems. Especially just basic on/off/dimmer set ups. The money normally comes in when the lights are programmable or Apex ready.

ya alot of cheap modules will work as long as you dont mind only on or off you definitely want dimmable otherwise you have to use height to adjust intensity but if you want sunrise-sunset flawless ramping and thunderstorms get ready to fork out the big $

LEDs are basically all the same now. If you dig enough, they are all the same design and same company. Long discussions in the past about it. But Bridgelux is basically Cree, although Cree releases their better LED's under the Cree name before Bridgelux. They are the same, other then the star that the LED bead is on. The big difference is in the programming, basic dimmers and on/off is cheap. Some are now coming out with their own controllers for cheap as well though. Times are changing and quickly getting cheaper.

Thanks for all the input! As of now I don't have an apex or controller but I'm thinking of getting one for my nano to upgrade from my par38. I don't mind throwing a timer on them and just having the on/off feature
