Carpet Wrasse for sale Cheap Slightly dehydrated

Had my first jumper yesterday. Cleaner wrasse is no more. May be time for a canopy.

Yah, Wrasses and Anthias are all jumpers. You can all ways buy a DIY screen kit from Home Depot and buy some clear plastic screen material from Canadian Tire and build your own.

or buy a BRS DIY screen kit if you don't want to go with a canopy.

Is egg crate not a light diffuser?

In what way? I have leds and there's no difference if i have the egg crate on or off.

I too have egg crate over my tank to prevent jumpers it's nice and clean too as it sits flush on the lip of the rim around the top of my tank. I talked to te sales rep from Orphek prior asking if I would loose much par doing so and he said I shouldn't loose that much to matter. I haven't tested par as I don't have access to a par meter but I have had the egg crate now for months with no ill effects suffered by any of my coral.

I also have egg crate over my tank and haven't noticed a difference in the light.  However it's not always a preventative for jumping.  I just bought 2 Firefish and the next day they both jumped 4 inches out of the water, through those nice small squares onto the floor to get eaten by my cats    I had so been looking forward to the color those fish would have added to my tank.  For the most part though egg crate works very well.  I think my new fish were very determined not to be there LOL.
