When treating cyano with Chemi-Clean, it says that I should remove carbon during treatment. Does algone and ROWA and my filter cartridge contain carbon? If so, I will remove it.

sorry how long has your tank been up and running? have you tried every thing else to get rid of the cyano? dosing with chemicals is a last resort....

About 6 months... I have tried manual removal but it is hard to take off. What are the other options? Thanks, Colby.

What are your levels? po4 & Nitrate levels? it's feeding off of something..have you tried adding any bacteria cultures?
