my debit card got compromised and it was the credit union that figured it out where it happened. it happened at a ATM machine. but nothing was taking out of my account yet st went back to libro and they gave me a new debit card. another time. MBNA credit card send me a email asking if i used my card for a 4 dollar purchase. i said no then then cancelled the card. they said when a hacker gets yur credit card info they do it in small amount at first then go up a dollar or 2 per transaction

The fees are high because of one reason....supply and demand.... They know people are buying these to use for themselves in the hopes it will offer better protection and possibly even keep them an anonymous buyer.... And so why not see just how much ppl are willing to spend in order to have this "security"

Prepaid visa cards are getting really popular now to. But the fees are still a little high, they normally have a $5 activation fee, plus more fees.

check out the link below for a better prepaid card, I don't have one yet, but was given the link to check out myself.
