I was using one of these for GFO and Carbon. My question is, For those who use these do you run them with canisters in them or with out, I bought the unit with out and put them in. What I mean by canisters is the plastic housing that would hold DI Resin in your RO/DI unit. I put HC-GFO half full in the first one and Carbon 3/4 full in the second. This system plugged up in a week. I have since added the HC-GFO to my Kent 150 and put the Carbon in a separate reactor. Everything is working the way it should but just wondering about the Dual Reactor, Thanks

I run mine with, but arnt they an integral component? Water flows down the sides and up through the centre (media). Or the other way around whichever it is?

also the tube is 1/2" for GFO (more flow), where is 1/4" for DI.

I ran mine for few months without problems.

I think the Reactor that I have was set up as a dual DI reactor because of the 1/4 lines, Thanks Boga for the difference in the cartriges, I'm gonna have to Mod the reactor to use both. I have them running now so no biggie but it would of been nice to know that I couldn't run GFO and Carbon in it, Thanks for your help every one

Looking back at ad, it's a spectapure dual reactor. If it won't work out for you Jim, we will find something that will and I'll take this unit back. I know pulpfiction was looking for something like this unit.

At the moment I'm running the GFO in my Kent 150 Reactor, It's the same as the TLF 150 but it seals better at the top, I'm running the media in it and it's Tumbling away just like it should so that's ok, I have the Carbon running in my Bio-pellet Reactor and that is a problem cause I need it for Bio-pellets. If I could get another TLF 150 or I could mod my old RO/DI unit to run both that would be good as well, at the moment I don't need the BRS Dual Reactor so ya I'll return it on Saturday when I see you, Thanks Jerry that;s above and beyond.
