So, i picked up a frag of each of these, actually donated by @Painter Steve for the school tank. I placed them on the frag rack because i didn't really know where to place them. They now have both grown off the plug and I have to cut them off the rack.

I have read some stories about containment issues. For now I am going to cut them off the plugs and glue them to rock, monitor once i start getting growth on the rocks. My thoughts is to place them on the same rock, as the students have decided that is how they would like them. Will one outgrow the other? Or, will they just both be able to maintain enough real estate to thrive.

I have enough on the rack to scrape off and will have a few frags available if there is anyone in the Niagara area, looking to make a trade. I will also have some Colt Leather Coral, if I can figure out how to safely make a few cuts.

Both spread liek crazy. Not sure which would win, prob gsp in my mind. I would put them on a rock and then on the sand bed seperate from the rest of the main rock work. IF they get a hold of the main rock and start to spread you will have to remove a lot more to trim them back. Put them on their own island:)

Gsp will defiantly win. And they are both a total PITA. I had to set up another tank just to try and salvage what I can before a tear down and start over. I found a local guy on the forum that has a Copperband that has acquired the taste for the Blue's so I decided to give him a few zoa frags that were being smothered by the Blues and a day or 2 later he send me pic of 1 zoa frag all cleaned up and free from the Blue Stars.

Same for me, had the blues completely take over my tank one summer I had a tank sitter while I lived at my cottage. The tank "looked" fine but all my zoas got smothered out by those bastard blues
