I have a birdsnest that has tripled in size since I got in in October. My problem is that it isn't encrusting down, which I hear is normal for these corals.
I'm worried that as the coral gets bigger and bigger, it will eventually break off at the base. It does have a couple tines growing down that will touch the rock soon. Will these encrust a bit to the rock and keep it stable?
Hey Brandon, in the picture you can see the purple and red digis that I got from you. Where they are touching, the polyps on the red have turned white... The base is still red though, so I don't think its bleaching per-se. I think it's kind of interesting.
