Barrels for water storage

So i contacted this guy....Says the barrels had "vinegar" in them...  maybe wine??

I wonder if i could use one???

they should be fine regardless of what was in them to an extent.. just as most hdpe doesnt leech anything into water it also doesnt absorb stuff. so with a good cleaning i would use them, in fact i wish i could find 2 of them locally myself.
