So, what I'm thinking...  Jebao 6000, ATO, WP 25...All from fishstreet.

Has anyone tried this ATO??  Reviews don't look bad....

I think a forum member may have purchased one and had it fail. Pretty sure it was nexusnight

This is the one i have always used.  Also never had any problems.
I have a double swicthed one now.  Dont expect to have any problems with it either.
Keep it clean and it should never fail.

Davesolo29, by this one you are referring to the one DerekL mentioned,  or the link I posted?

I use a float valve in my sump and a line that runs of the rodi unit is that not ok ?

The only disadvantage I can see is if your RODI/float valve get stuck on, it's cold cold water going into sump or if it doesn't produce. 0 Tds when first turned on .

is it a bad idea. to have a float valve. in a barrel. that will turn yur rodi on right away to full it......yud want to run that rodi unit for a few mins. the. it will be 0 tds.  if yur rodi has been off.  and treun right on it wont be 0 tds

Yea, right when you turn your rodi on it will read higher for a few seconds then rapidly decline , but if your using a float directly to the tank then that's all going in your tank rather than buffering in a large barrel

No plans to attach this to Ro/Di unit at all.....

I'm making my Ro/Di water remotely, and will add to holding tank under the cabinet!!

I guess back to the original post....
This looks decent, and would much rather than a float switch?!  I've heard negative reviews of ATO with float switches.
Anyway, everything clear as mud now!!

LOL

Don't buy the one from fish street. I did to try it on my frag tank and it just stopped working. No overfill or anything just dead.
