Hey guys,,, So I came home from work tonight and 2 of my bulbs on my fixture are out... All the other bulbs are on(6 of them) The front 2 bulbs wont come on...

Any idea's on how to fix this? Or anyone have this problem before.. How do I go about n fixing this?

Yup had that problem, I always thought it was the ballast and it turned out to be the bulbs, If you don't know how old they are then I'd replace them if you do and they are less than 6 months then I'd clean the fixture end caps real good and if that doesn't help then it's the ballast,

The bulbs are like less then 3 months... What do you mean by cleaning the fixture???How did you clean your end caps?


I got some other bulbs kicking around I could try them...

Sandpaper.  Kinda like battery terminals on your car.  Just to clean off any corrosion.

I think you've got a lens over your fixture, take it off, take out the bulbs and clean up the end caps. If you have a lens then like I say it might be your ballast, try the bulbs that work in those slots, If they work it's the bulbs if not then the ballasts or the end caps.

Definitely try some bulbs because sometimes they burn out early... It happens. Even if one of the bulbs burns out the other on the same ballast might not light up. Once you test both lamps and find neither works then very good chance it is the ballast. They are fairly easy to change out. I have bought mine from goreef when I needed one before.
