Algae Vanishing Skimmer Bubbling

my algae on the back of the tank has literally begun to vanish. Almost overnight it disappeared from the one overflow and now it's vanishing from the back glass. My MRC skimmer is hardly even pushing bubbles too. And yes I cleaned it lol.

Is this the drop out of phosphates? The coralline just took a leap forward as well and hardly any algae is showing up on the front glass.

Wtf?

You may be getting to the point where the algae exhausted its food supply and is no longer growing. Usually that is a good thing. How long has your tank been running? The only thing you may want to watch out for is your nutrients getting too low over time. How does your coral look? If your skimmer isn't pushing too much gunk it may simply mean that you are dialing back the amount of nutrients being put into the system, and hence there is less there being pulled out in earnest.

If you coral looks good, and your coralline is growing, and your problem algae is disappearing, you may be entering the nutrient sweet spot, which is a very good thing :)

It's just hit a year old. I changed around the rocks a week ago to remove about 40 lbs. I made 2 islands.... Kinda..... And I think it changed the flow. I think the old rock wall trapped a lot of junk.

The water is crystal clear and I'm not even running carbon. Just Gfo. I should change that out. It's about a month old. Thing is I'm feeding MORE this week.

Hopefully you are right. Maybe the phosphate has finally come out of the rocks and is gone.

Corals look awesome.

That all sounds good, especially if your corals are happy. It would be expected to have a bit of a spike with moving rockwork around, especially if you had detritus get into the water column. I would just gauge your corals and watch your nutrient levels if anything is amiss, in the meantime enjoy the lack of algae on the back glass! :)
