Both of my packs of reagent for the Hanna ULR Phosphorous Checker are Lot # H025.....

I never got time to try a new battery yet.....

The funny thing is that my old reagents seemed to work ok but the word "phosphorous" was spelled "phopsphorous"..... Lol

Thanks jerry! I bought one pack from you at toronto frags and got another pack from canada corals there as well. I did this so i could try diff lots i guess but both seem to be the same lot#..... and both seem to give strange and inconsistant reaults.

Is the Hanna HI 736, ULR good for fresh water (RODI), too? I've learned that Alkalinity and pH can influence the measurements.

Follow up on my question above. Answer from US Hanna Tech Support:
Bogdan,

When the meter says Marine it is intend for salt water samples.  You could try the RODI water however, it has never been tested so I cannot tell you how it will perform.

No, pH and alk are not interferences.

Are you making sure your vial is absolutely clean? No finger print or anything?

Have you ever left reagent in vial between tests as it can stain glass.
